Research Interests
Sociolinguistics: societal bi-/multilingualism, language shift, language and identity, endangered languages; documentary linguistics: Vlashki/Zheyanski (Istro-Romanian), Istriot, language documentation, description and archiving, community-centered language documentation and revitalization; language contact: Slavic-Romance language contact and intereference in Istria, Croatia, constraints on language contact in syntax, pidgin/creole genesis.
